We are a business run by two sisters based in Kendal, the Gateway to the Lake district, who have a passion for dogs.

Anna runs the boutique and online shop and Laura is a dog groomer with her own salon on site.

We love our dog Hugo and we know you love yours and want the best for them.

We firmly believe Happiness, Health and dogs go together with the help of great food, treats and quality accessories.

About Us

Ruffwear: Front Range

The Front Range collection is what we most use on our Hugo, it includes Harnesses, collars and leads and is the best all rounder from Ruffwear. Every item is built with strength, durability and comfort in mind from the connections i.e the lead attachments, lights attachments, tag rings etc, color fast webbing, adjustability to the padding on the harnesses. This collection can easily take you and your dog from adventuring round the town to up on the mountains.

We have been using Ruffwear accessories before we even had a shop, simply put we love their gear. Our love affair started with needing great adjustability and fit on a harness for Hugo. We still use his first one and it is now 6 years old. Their quality products are strong, durable, long lasting, have amazing safety features, wash like a dream and they are cute and stylish too. What is not to love!!

Natural Treats

Having a dog with allergies we know all about the importance of feeding your dog natural treats. The benefits in health, digestion, coat, skin, dental health, brain and mental health and keeping calming, to name a few, are fantastic. We only stock tried and tested quality products. If we would not give it to Hugo we would not sell it to you.

Water Resistant Fleeces

We love a fleece on our Hugo, pictures just here. We walk him on a harness, trying to find a coat for an awkward shaped dog with a harness hole which does not leak was becoming impossible. These fleeces are water resistant, warm, comfortable, breathable, wash well and dry quickly. Harnesses go over the top like a glove so Hugo stays safe, dry, warm, mud and mess free and limits the drying when we get home. We love them and know you will to.
